This is a specimen of Elbaite (Sodium Lithium Aluminum Boro-Silicate Hydroxide). Elbaite is the most desirable variety of Tourmaline and is often used as a gemstone. This Elbaite crystal is a lovely, almost emerald, green with a vitreous luster. It is transparent with some inclusions but not enough to interfere with its overall transparency. One end has a 3-tier termination the other is terminated "normally". This Elbaite is 1.1 inches tall. It is mounted with removable mineral tack in a Perky box. It is from Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil . Insurance is included in the Packaging & Handling. I combine shipping with other purchases or auction wins.
