Offered is a wonderfully detailed green glass wine goblet with an armorial or heraldic emblem, enameling and applied glass prunts. All red and white work is in raised enameling. The shape is pictured in Gary Baldwin's Moser Artistic Glass on Plate 104, top row. The glass t has a gilded design on the bowl w this one has the device of the eagle on a shield and raised enamel designs.The stem has a series of five bubble-like sections in descending size. Just below the bowl is a band or wafer with a vertical ribbed design. The first large bulge below that has four applied "flowerlets" with white and yellow enamel applied dots. The wide foot is hollow underneath.The goblet or chalice is 7 1/4" tall, both bowl and foot are 3" wide. Condition is excellent except for one small flake or bruise inside the rim, shown in a close up photo. Remember that this is a magnified photo. The little defect can be seen in true size in the first photo as a tiny mark. No glass is missing and the spot can be felt only with a finger nail. T is a small unbroken bubble just below the ribbed collar.Shipped Priority Mail at cost. Insurance optional but suggested as for any breakable.
