These four Silver Age GL’s sold together as a lot. All have awesome artwork by the great Gil Kane and fantastic storytelling by John Broome ! Issues #50 & 51 are both in very good condition for comics of this age. Clean covers with nice, unmarked interior pages all attached to clean staples. Only some minor stress marks at the spine and at the lower left corner of #50 with slightly more signs of wear on the spine of #51.These very collectable copies from 1967 should easily rate a 7 from any honest grader of comics. Issue # 52 shows a little more wear on the cover with noticeable creases on both the left and right hand sides along with a diagonal crease along the upper right hand corner. The interior is in very good condition with all pages firmly attached to clean staples with no marks, tears, or stains. Despite this, #52 has an appearance by Alan Scott, the original Green Lantern , something that this issueworth having in a GL collection. Rate it at a 6.5 maybe? Issue #53 is has several problems that reduce its collectability. The cover is detached from the comic, has short tears by the staples, and a 1/4 x 1/2 inch tear in the lower left corner.
