It's A Battlefield by Graham Greene. Published by Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc., Garden City, NY 1934. Very good plus first U.S.A. edition in very good dust jacket. Brown tweed cloth covered boards with black background and graphics on spine. Boards are clean. Sunning around the outermost edges. Small amount of creasing on edges at head and tail of board spine. Shallow diagonal crease on title/copyright page; deeper diagonal crease on half-title page. Small stain on upper edge of back free endpaper as shown in photo, else book is internally clean. Text block is sound. Dust jacket is sunned, more so on spine. All folds are rubbed and creased; more so on the fore-edge folds. Front fore-edge fold has several small horizontal creases bordering on closed tears. Back fore-edge fold has small rub/loss of 1/4" by 3/16". Edges at head and tail of jacket spine have numerous closed vertical tears, chips and rubs. Upper front corner on head of jacket spine has loss of 3/8" by 1/2" and 7/8" closed vertical tear along the front spine fold. Tail of jacket spine has small chips and rubs with a 1/2" closed vertical tear and adjacent 1/4" closed horizontal tear.
