The jug has a 2 near the lip symbolizing the 2 gallon capacity. Lower down, in between two arrows, it reads "Pierce's Wood Shanty Greenville, ALA" This is an extremely rare jug. It has some imperfections as the pictures show but they are easily overlooked considering how often one sees this jug which is basically never. I know of only one other. The jug is approximately 13.5 inches high. It is huge compared to the most common quarts and single gallon jugs. Insurance is suggested.
