~ Home, home on the range ~ ~ W the deer and the Buffalo play ~ This scared Buffalo measures approximately 2 and 3/4" high, 3" wide and the base is 2" long. Signed by Mary and probably made in 1999, which is when I met Mary and Greg at the Lang Folk Art Show. Mary makes these precious figurines by pressing solid redware clay into decorative, Antique Pewter Ice Cream Molds. At one time, he was a single serving of ice cream, now he is a delectable figurine. I have a number of these Animal Figurines and Greg made some notes for me describing their history. Included in this auction, is a copy of the original note * , printed on the finest Crane 100% cotton paper. Dosen't he look proud with his diploma! He graduated the top of his class! * The original note is included with the "Lovely Lamb" currently on auction. I am selling my entire collection of these adorable "Animal Friends" figurines made by Mary Spellmire-Shooner. ~ Watch my auctions. Coming up, an English "Tyg" with original notes written by Greg ~ Thank you for looking ~ I'm happy to answer your questions ~ Enjoy and good luck bidding! Payment : I prefer PayPal but I will gladly accept cashiers' checks and money orders. Shipping: I will ship this item using Priority Mail Flate Rate and once your payment clears, I try to mail likety-split. Insurance is optional and based on final winning bid. Please Note: The actual shipping cost is $4.05. My mistake. Also Note: The photos have a bit of a yellow tint. He is far more handsome, with rich, deep colors.
