Gremlins 2: The New Batch Daffy Oversized Foam Latex Face This is an oversized Daffy prototype face from the production of the 1990 miniature creature feature Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Created by legendary Academy Award winner Rick Baker and his team, this was a prototype used for make-up and facial-structure tests for the crazy Mogwai Daffy, who was named after and based on Daffy Duck. This face is made of foam latex, half painted a rust red color, with hand-punched white and brown hair on the chin and cheeks, similar to Gizmo’s, and a few streaks of black mixed in. The face is in a relatively raw state, with fringe evidence of the molding process around the eyes and mouth. This item measures 9" x 6" (23cm x 15cm). The piece is in good condition; the foam latex is still soft to the touch This is an unpainted Gremlin "bullet ball" from Gremlins 2: The New batch. T are a few simple rules to follow when dealing with Mogwai: don't let them eat after midnight, and don't get them wet. The first causes them to become vicious Gremlins; the latter causes more gremlins to hatch out of their backs. Put the two together and you're in quite a predicament.
