Offered this 18 piece set of vintage Griffith white milk glass spice set with rack from the Griffith Laboratories, Chicago, Illinois. The set has green lids. The lids do have various degrees of rust on them. Eight of the jars still have shakers. The jars are in excellent condition and are of the Art Deco style. They measure 4 1/8 in. tall x 1 1/8 in. wide. The few labels that were on the jars were paper. They had to be removed and the jars had to be cleaned, because the jars contained the original spices ! Only one jar had the front "Griffiths'" label, and the few that had back labels were: "allspice, cayenne pepper, poultry seasoning, ginger, ground cloves, thyme, mustard flour, chili seasoning." The wooden spice rack measures 17 1/2 in. wide x 4 1/2 in. tall. The successful U.S. bidder will pay $13.00 for shipping, and international sales will be shipped at cost.
