OUR PROCESS Our 21 years of experience Has taught us alot about how to deliver a QUALITY PRODUCT in a PROFESSIONAL, ARTISTIC, (AND SOMETIMES EVEN HUMOROUS) manner. Each piece is cut from 1/4" Luan Underlayment Plywood. We prefer Luan because of it's very tight surface grain and exterior durability. After each piece is cut, all rough edges are taper-sanded to eliminate any "open grain" that would allow moisture absorption. Water-proof glue is applied to all edges. The wood grain virtually "drinks" the glue and forms a permanent, weather-proof seal. Two coats of quality house paint is applied to both front and back. Each coat on the front is sanded smooth. We use latex-based enamel paint for the detail painting for its weather and sunlight resistance. The final step is to brush apply a thick coat of Weather-resistant Polyurethane Satin Finish Sealer (front and edges) -assuring you YEARS of outdoor durability and enjoyment. NOTE: Character is painted on ONE SIDE ONLY. MOUNTING SYSTEM All pieces use a "stake-in-the-ground" display method.
