Up for bid is a great piece of Griswold cast iron. It is a number 10 round griddle with the X reinforcement bottom. What makes this griddle a rare and hard to find item is the handle. Instead of having the long tear drop hole in the handle it has a 1/2" round hole. This was very unusual for Griswold to use this type of handle. You can see this same griddle except a #8 in the 2005-2006 Griswold cast iron price guide on page 88. T are no cracks, repairs, or pits and it sits flat. The cooking surface is very smooth. The griddle is clean and is ready for display. It reads 10, "ERIE", 740, GRISWOLD. Thanks for looking and view some of my other items.
