Remarkably clean old Griswold cast iron Tite-Top Dutch Oven with lid, bail handle, and trivet. âeoeI always thought that Iâe(tm)d use this sometime,âe said the old woman whom we got it from; she was, she said, its only owner. If she used it, it was rarely and a long time ago. Fully signed top and bottom of the lid and on the bottom. The trivet is signed âeoeThe Griswold Mfg. Co. Erie , Pa. U. S. A. 8 Trivet 206.âe The lid and bottom are numbered the same, but have different patent dates: the lidâe(tm)s is Feb. 10, 1920 ; the bottomâe(tm)s is March 16, 1920 . Both have the âe~Griswoldâe(tm) in a cross. Excellent condition; tâe(tm)s a light spatter of darkness inside; no cracks, scratches, corrosion, pitting, or repair.
