Griswold Cast Iron #7 Small Logo Late Handled Skillet - Cleaned and SeasonedThis small logo late handled #7 Griswold skillet has been cleaned and lightly seasoned. It is ready to join your cooking staff the day it is received. It sits flat on a hard surface without any wobble and there is no bow to the bottom inside cooking surface. This skillet was originally made sometime between 1944 and 1957. It is 9 ¾" across without the pour spouts and 2" deep. With the handle it is 14 3/8" long. It rings like a bell when tapped with a wooden spoon.The back of the skillet is marked:No. 7Griswold logo in a double circle - 1 7/8" acrossErie, PA.701HThere is a 7 at the base of the handle on the front. The inside cooking surface is smooth to the feel but there is one casting flaw indent and extremely shallow pin point type pitting. The pitting is almost entirely under the seasoning and can be seen but not felt. The shallow indent is near the center of the cooking surface. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, rust, or repairs to the piece. There are the usual discoloration and utensil scratches from years of use and age. It rings like a bell when tapped with a wooden spoon.
