This is a very large Griswold Tite-Top Dutch Oven in excellent condition. The markings are very well defined on the bottom of the pot and lid, see pictures. T are no cracks, no warping, and no pitting from rust but t is some normal pitting from the casting. T is no wobble, it sits flat and the lid fits tightly with no wobble. This thing was very clean and looked like it had never been used except for being seasoned. The wire bail is very straight and looks original to this pot. I have been collecting Wagner for many years but, I have some Griswold pieces and, when I saw this just had to have it. Always wanted to get into chuckwagon cooking but, don't have time for any new hobbies. All I've done with it is store it for several years, dust it off, clean off a few small spots of surface rust, and season it with a light coat of cooking oil and a 450 degree oven. The blackness is from the seasoning, t is no paint on it anyw I do combine shipping for multiple auctions.
