You are bidding on a VINTAGE GRISWOLD "ERIE" CAST IRON DUTCH OVEN WITH LID. The bottom of the oven reads: "ERIE"; "834X" and "9". On the underside of the lid it reads: "2552" and "9". The oven has two tab handles on opposite sides with a bail wire handle running between the two. T is a solid attached handle centered in the top of the lid. The oven is 11" in diameter and about 4 3/8" tall without the lid. The lid also is 11" in diameter and is about 3" tall from the pan to the top of the centered handle. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or damage noted. It could stand a good cleaning, but I will leave that to the next ownwer if desired. Do not bid if you do not intend to pay for the item. I have a very good positive feedback record and wrap all items in bubblewrap and package in a box with styrofoam peanuts. I ship nearly all packages via Priority Mail or 1st Class Mail within 24 hours of payment receipt. I will ship worldwide. I charge no handling fee and buyers pay actual shipping costs. The only time I charge an extra fee is if I have to buy a box to ship your item, or if the item is a special item that requires professional packing. The extra box fee and the additional packing fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Insurance is not required, but highly recommended. I will not accept responsibility for items lost or broken that are not insured. Full payment must be received before the item is shipped. I do not accept personal checks. I prefer PayPal. I accept PayPal, Money Orders, and Cashiers Checks. I like to have all transactions completed within 10 days.
