Up for your bidding pleasure is a great piece of Griswold cast iron, it's a Griswold No. 18 Heart & Star waffle iron in excellent condition especially for its age and use. The iron makes a really unique shaped waffle, it's in the shape of five hearts with a double star center. The iron is fully signed and has a large slant Griswold Logo in the center of its top & bottom. The top of the iron is numbered 919 and the bottom is numbered 920. Stamped on the base is number 915B. By its pattern numbers it is a high base heart & star waffle iron made in the 1920's in the No. 18 size. The iron is in excellent condition without any deep rust pitting, cracks or repairs to it. The only thing I can see are normal cast flaws, factory grind marks, some very light flash rust and some light residue caused by age and use. All of what I have described can be seen in the pictures below. If you have been looking for something really unique for that person you love, just think how great a gift this Griswold Heart & Star waffle iron will make for them on Valentines Day.
