GRISWOLD No. 9 DUTCH OVEN TRIVET LID 1279 Vintage Griswold No. 9 Cast Iron Dutch Oven with Trivet and Lid You will receive it in “as-found” condition. The pot, trivet and lid show surface rust and have not been seasoned. Pot sits flat on a hard surface with only the tiniest wobble, too small to measure. No chips, cracks or damage. Bottom is marked: “Griswold Tite-Top Dutch Oven, Erie, PA., USA, 1279, Patent 1,333,917” . Patent number dates 1920. Trivet is marked: “The Griswold Mfg. Co., Erie, PA, USA, 9, Trivet, 207” Inside lid is marked: “Griswold, 9, Self Basting, Patent 1,333,205” and another 4-digit number that I cannot make out. Patent number dates 1920.
