I found an estate loaded with vintage kitchen items and this is a real prize. This is a "Griswold Tea Size Crispy Corn Cake Pan". This box is in excellent condition, great color, no rips or tears. Normal wear to the corners due to shelf life. This is an absolute MUST HAVE for the Griswold collector. They don't get much better than this. T are numbers on the back of the box written in pencil that I believe is original to the box. X5 00 59. The back of the box has recipes for Crispy Corn Cakes and Crispy Whole Wheat Muffins and directions for seasoning the mold. Front reads, "A new way of baking corn or wheat bread shaped like an ear of corn. Delicious and novel for luncheons, teas and card parties". As you can tell by the pictures, this has never been used. T are a couple of surface rust spots probably due to condensation. I have not removed them. I will leave that to the new owner. The pan is 8-1/2" by 4". Back of the pan reads, "No. 262 GRISWOLD CRISPY CORN OR WHEAT STICK PAN ERIE PA., U.S.A. 625". I will have another Griswold pan listed, so please check my other items.
