The Griswold collectors' books show a few, very early skillets designated "VICTOR" although I couldn't find this particular design anyw These vented pans are usually known as smokeless or odorless. This rare item has many other unusual features ~ a gatemark with shadow ~ an outside heat/smoke ring ~ an ornate vented handle with reinforced attachment point and it's dated "June 10th 1879" - that's 128 years ago!
