s an old sidney hollow ware # 8 bean kettle with 3 legs nice bail or handel, fire or smoke ring , is well intact , and strong has the tilt ring on the side, the inside is smooth as silk, no pits , warps, no cracks, this kettle set down in a old wood stove burner eye, with the fire ring , not letting out any smoke , so it would get close to the fire, on the bottom , then , they would take it off the wood stove and set it on top to keep the beans or stew warm , on its 3 legs, hate to part with this , but need money more , i think this was made around 1898, to 1900, ill ship what ever it costs, to your address, ill not jack up the shipping , this thing is heavy,
