This auction is for a group of 8 vintage hand painted composition soldiers made in Italy by the Chialu company, I believe during the 1950's. It looks like they might represent two sides in a conflict? There are 2 soldiers of each pose, but they always have different headgear. There are two lying down and firing cannons - one guy has a green hat, the other a red cap. Two walking, one with khaki helmet, one with red cap. Two firing rifles - one with khaki helmet, the other is missing his head, but there is a blue tassle going down his back. and 2 throwing grenades - one with khaki helmet, one with green hat. Only 3 of them are marked "C. Italy".
