This auction is for the five razors, three full cases and the half case shown in my scans. I apologize in advance for not knowing more than is readily apparent about these wonderful items. The first three razors pictured are in their original boxes, and both the boxes and the blades are marked: The Torrey Razor Co., Worcester, Mass., USA; Carl Rader, Solingen; H. Boker & Co., "Tree" Trade Mark, Germany. The fourth razor has only half its original case, and both the case and the blade are marked Tennis, Solingen, and the blade itself also bears the notation Facharbeit, Solingen. The last razor, which has no case at all, is marked Leader. Its blade is in by far the most compromised shape, but it has perhaps the only bone handle in the bunch. The others, pictured in the scan out of their cases, all appear to have either Bakelite or celluloid housings. The Boker handle is particularly elegant in its decorative execution.All these razors appear to have been used. Most are in very good to excellent condition because they have been kept in their cases, and all these razors are from the same estate. The Leader razor is the only one in sorry shape, but it has a wonderful handle and I thought, tfore, that it was worth including.Please check out my other auctions for similar items, and thanks for looking!
