This item is a group of 9 old mechanical pencils from the 1930-40's, described as shown in the first image below, beginning with the first on the left side, as follows: #1) Advertising, 5-3/4 inch, 'Railway Express is Everyw', no visible flaws, excellent condition; #2) Green Diamond Point, USA, 5-1/8 inches, marked on the gold clip, some slight roughness on the lead sleeve next to the lead, lead extends and retracts properly, eraser shows no usage, excellent overall condition' #3) Diamond PMP, marked on clip, (marked Pat. No. 83673, or so I think), 4-3/4 inches, marbleized yellow and red barrell, screw off cap, lead retracts and extends properly, excellent overall condition; #4) 'Veterans of Foriegn Wars and Ladies Auxillary, Dept of Missouri', advertising, 5-5/8 inches, calendar top, pencil made by Ritepoint, lead extends and retracts properly, no visible flaws, marked on the barrell with 'Ritepoint, St. Louis, MO, Made in U.S.A., Pat. 2.339.631, Other Pats. Pending', excellent condition; #5) Advertising, 'Acme Auto Parts, Lawrence Synder Prop., Phone 836, Belleville, ILL, marked 'Monroe, USA' on the clip, 5-3/8 inches, calendar on bottom section, eraser under the screw off cap, needs lead, lead mechanism seems to work correctly, excellent condition; #6) Advertising, 'Illinois Central Railroad', marked 'QuickPoint, St.Louis' on the clip, 5-1/2 inches, needs lead, no visible flaws; #7) Wahloxford Eversharp, 4-3/4 inches, embossed on barrel with 'WahlOxford, Made in U.S.A. by the makers of Eversharp', t is some accumulation of dirt beneath the clip which seems to come of easily (can be seen in the images below.....had I seen it earlier, would have cleaned), needs lead, mechanism works properly, marked inside on eraser sleeve, 'Use Only Eversharp Square Leads', no visible flaws, excellent condition; #8) 'Lifelong', marked on clip, 5-1/4 inches, screw apart barrell with eraser on the insde, lead retracts and extends properly, no visible flaws, excellent condition; #9) 'Dur-O-Lite, Chicago, Pat. Pending, 14K Gold Filled', marked on metal sleeve above the clip, 5-1/2 inches, green marblized, eraser beneath top cap, slight dent on top of top cap, no other visible flaws, lead extends properly, but needs help with retraction, very good to excellent condition. All 9 listed, sold, and shipped together to save both seller and buyer on expenses. We are not experts on old vintage mechanical pencils, so please ask questions if you have them.
