I was lucky enough to pick up a Group of Damaged Paleo point over the weekend. These points were all found in Todd County, Kentucky in the 1960's. All of these points are killer and had they been complete would of been a top of line artifact. I purchased these points from the finder and he said that most all of them were from one small site in Southern Todd Co. T are several different types including Clovis, Redstone, Beaver Lake, Quad, Harpeth River , Green Brier and one small blade. The materials range from Fort Payne, Kentucky Hornstone, Sonora,and others I'm not familiar with. The redstone in the center would of been a $2,500 point of more if it would of been complete. It would make a great canidate for restoration. The Redstone measures 2.15/16 inches long and is 1.25 inches wide. The three bases in the second picture measure 1.7/8 and is fluted completely on both sides. The middle base is 2.00 long and is flute completely on both sides. The third base is 2.1/8 inches long was broken during manufacturing. The second largest point measures 2.7/8 inches long and is a clovis that was made from a extremely hard material. T are 8 flute points in the group, 2 damaged Green Briers, 1 Harpeth River Base that would of been a killer point, 2 quad or beaver lake bases. A small Sonora blade that was found on the same site as the BIG BASES and a unfluted clovis. I will gurantee these point to be 100% authentic and will give a 30 return period if these point are found to be altered or reproduction.
