A collection of approximately 87 photographs of Pure Oil service stations and bulk plants in North and South Carolina. All are meticulously identified on the reverse side and dated September 1941. Velox prints Measure 6" x 3.5". All are in fine condition with excellent resolution.In addition to the stations, vehicles and advertising signage, they are a wonderful chronicle of southern life in the months leading up to World War II.
