This is a group of three (3) old photographs of the The Milwaukee Electric Lines trolleys. They are various sizes not exceeding 5-1/2" X 3-1/2". They are all "one-of-a-kind" - I do not know the disposition of the negatives. 1 ) The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Transport Co.,streetcar 882, DT/DE/AR "Join the Navy" scheme, (Built By St. Louis Car Co., 1920). On Route 37, Green Bay Avenue and Keefe, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, October, 1947. (R. Donald Ross, photographer). NOTE: Car 882 was the last Milwaukee trolley to run in Milwaukee County lasting into 1961 or 1962 on the Lakeside shuttle, then scrapped at a private salvage yard on Lincoln Avenue. 2 ) The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Light Co., streetcar passing Schlitz Hotel, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 1890's.
