Grundig – Majestic This is a beautiful piece of German craftsmanship . Majestic International Sales Corp. out of Chicago, Illinois distributed it in the USA in the late 1950’s. This unit is in near perfect condition. The gold trim piece is missing on the right side panel. This is a tube type Receiver still in WORKING condition. Specifications: Type Set – AC Operated FM-BC-SW Receiver with 4 speed automatic Record Changer. Model: 7028/USA Tube Types are: (1) ECC85/6AQ8, (1) ECB??/6AJ8, (1) EBF89, (1) EAA91/6AL5, (1) EM34-35/6CDT, (1) ECC83/12AX7, (1) EC92/6AB4, (2) EL95. Power Supply: 110-120 Volts AC-60 Cycles Rating: .54 Amps@ 117 Volts AC (53 Watts) Tuning Ranges: Freq. Mod = 88-108 MC, Broadcast = KC, Short Wave 1 = 3.2-8.5 MC, Short Wave 2 = 8.3-18.5 MC After recieving a question about what all works, I decided to give this item a more thorough inspection. are my findings: The tuning is smooth across the dial as in t ins no sticking or binding.The "Magic Eye" lights up and refects signal strenght.I picked up broadcast on the BC & FM bands but none on the SW bands. Radio reception is not very good in my location to start with.The "Multisonic" is basiclly a 4 band graphic equalizer with 3 presets and a mute. the mute actually by-passes the multisonic.The output amp has very nice sound.The phonograph does not turn. read more
