Set appears brand new. Battery operated( 6C required but not included). Features forward, reverse, stop, operating headlight, authentic train sounds and electronic whistling sound. Includes locomotive, coal tender, caboose and over 14 feet of track . The box shows its age but as you can see from t he upside down picture of the locomotive, the wheels appear to have never been on a track. Instruction paper is with set.
