Hello, you are viewing my sale for a GUEISSAZ-JACCARD SAINTE-CROIX (SUISSE) MUSIC BOX THAT PLAYS LARA'S THEME (DR. ZHIVAGO). This wooden music box measures 6 and 3/4" long by 5" deep by 2 and 1/2" tall. This box has a smooth feel to it with a picture of a violin, musical notation, and some wreaths adorning the top lid of the box. Inside the box is a decal in pink with a picture of an angel playing a harp. On this decal is the wording: "GUEISSAZ-JACCARD SAINTE-CROIX (SUISSE) LARA'S THEME (DR. ZHIVAGO) M. JARRE". On the bottom of the inside box the felt covering can be removed leading to the exposure of the actual movement. On the actual movement is labeled "GUEISSAZ-JACCARD SWITZERLAND". The song Lara's Theme does play. I have only wound this unit up once to insure that the song is able to be played and it was. As a note, there is a penny size scar on the right side top of the unit which I have pointed out in the pictures. The laminate in that section had a crack in it and now the penny size area directly views the wood surface. There is no key to lock this unit. This is a final sale.
