From the Guilford Dairy that once supplied families, schools and businesses with milk products in the Greensboro, NC area, these two bottles are in amber glass to "protect" the milk and are definitely collectible! The half gallon bottle has a character "cow" and "Grade A" in a circle. Below are the words "Guilford Dairy your home town dairy". Next is an outline of the state of North Carolina with "Produced in North Carolina" inside the graphic and below that are the words "Half Gallon Liquid". At the base the words "Half Gallon Liquid" is embossed. The bottle is indented to form a "grip" for handling the bottle and below the side with the "grip" is "MLX-5355". On the other side are the words "The Amber Bottle" and "*Protects Natural Flavor *Retains vitamin content". Embossed at the bottom is "REG. Sealed" an oval with a I inside, and "OBO". On the base is the number 9 and the number 65. T is also embossed an open chain decorative pattern. Over all the graphics are sharp and clearn. However, the graphics have faded slightly on one shoulder of the cow and on four of the letters on that side. T is a small scratch in the letter "B" of "Amber" and some fading of several letters on that side.
