For sale with No Reserve is this marked Guillow's Lockheed P38L Lightning Balsa Wood Airplane Kit The kit was purchased at a local estate sale and the box had been marked as complete plus one of the heirs stated it was complete and unused only opened. Unfortunately I cannot verify this but in looking at the inside parts it appears that it has never been assembled. The decals and instructions are also included. It does appear to be all there. If there is to be an apology it would be that the corners of the box had been torn and taped back together and one of the white plastic parts has a ever so slight split on one edge of it but it doesn't intrude the form that you would use to construct it that I can tell. The front of the box is marked that this is a 40 inch wingspan and a giant scale kit (marked on the box as Kit 2001) . I am not sure if this is the year of manufacture but there are no bar codes leading me to believe it was originally from the late 1960's or 1970's, but again I am unsure. Therefore it is being sold on an "as is" basis only because I am not 100% sure if it is all there even though I do believe it really is.
