RARE Alden model 9910 solid body model made by Harmony in Chicago in the years 1948-1955 (estimated) “This is believed to one of their earlier models.” “ The body has a few nicks as you can see in photos, beside that in great condition. The original case is with it, it is in fair condition. This instrument is virtually identical to the Harmony model H88 Stratotone. It features a single-cutaway solid body, two pickups, two knobs and one toggle switch, trapeze tailpiece, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays glued in neck, and black finish with gold sparkle flakes. This is a very early example of the model. While this was a relatively inexpensive student model guitar when new, these instruments are currently sought after by collectors and musicians around the world. “SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE”
