SITKA SPRUCE.... sound board..... AMERICAN BLACK WALNUT back/side setThe Spruce sound board is described in my add for £35....... The Black Walnut sets have knots or little blemishes (see photo's)...... But will pattern a 000 guitar OM or small parlor.... They have some ripple figure but because they have defects (in backs only..... side sets will be free of defects) I'm classing these as just plain..... Having said this, these sets will make you a fine guitar at a reasonable price...... You just have less options on cutting out your guitar pattern and you have to sand the backs and sides yourself..... Tops are sanded (see add)Black Walnut is now being offered by some of the big guitar makers as a greener alternative. It's very easy to bend. So Great for a first time maker. Looks great with an oil finnish......SET 1... photo's 1&2SET 2... photo 3SET 3... photo 4 with pencil pointing to defectSET 4... photo's 5 & 6SET 5... photo's 7 & 8Reading photo's from left to right............. These sets are a real bargain from the same quarter sawn planks that are shown in my other add for £90You will end up with a guitar, that will be great to look at and play.....
