We are pleased to offer this rare bracelet of authentic horsehair from Gulch, our beloved late retiree and Eclipse Sprint Champion. The bracelet measures approximately 8 inches and features a blue and green "earth" like beaded charm. Proceeds benefit the continued care of our deserving retirees. Thank you for your support.Gulch was one of the greatest. By Mr. Prospector, out of Jameela, he was foaled in 1984. He was a Grade 1 winner at 2. Stayed on at 3 and excelled at 4. He was voted the Champion Sprinter of 1988 after his victory in the Breeders Cup Sprint. He retired to stud with over 3 million dollars in earnings.Success at stud was expected from the champion with his superb pedigree, but here too, Gulch surpassed. His 70-plus stakes winners include Derby victor Thunder Gulch, Nayef, The Cliff's Edge, Harayir, Great Navigator, Esteemed Friend, Nasty Storm, Golden Gear, Scrimshaw, Breeders Cup winner, Court Vision, and not least, our own great-hearted Wallenda. Gulch stood at Lane's End Farm in Versailles, KY through 2009, when he was retired to Old Friends, thanks to the generosity of Lane's End president, Bill Farish.Gulch passed away in 2016, of cancer. He was 32 years old. He lives on, every day, in the hearts of his Old Friends family.Check out my other items !Be sure to add me to your favorites list !Sign up for my email read more
