This is a 27 x 41" authentic, theater-used, one-sheet movie poster for the western "gunfight at the o.k. corral," starring kirk Douglas, burt Lancaster and Rhonda fleming. Directed by john sturges. paramount, usa. 1957.

# 64-910 appears along bottom border. poster printed in 1964.

*** We have recently acquired an extensive collection of original movie posters, window cards, lobby cards, etc. that were purchased in the 1980's from a Central American cinema. The posters and cards range in genre (horror, noir, western, comedy, etc.) and date from the late 1940's to the mid1980's. T is a nice mix of posters printed in the U.S. for the Latin American market as well as posters printed in South America and Europe, for use in Latin American cinemas.

These posters were originally shipped to the theaters folded. In order to preserve the integrity of the posters we will be shipping them folded flat in sturdy cardboard shipping boxes.

CONDITION REPORT

Fold Wear: moderate.

Separations: slight. tiny separations at cross-folds

Edge Tearing: moderate. two tears, about an inch with some paper loss, at right edge and one at bottom right corner. a couple of smaller tears at left edge and top edge center.

Body Tearing: slight. a couple of small tears in background.

Edge Paper Loss: moderate. some paper loss at edge tears mentioned above.

Body Paper Loss: minor. at small tears in background and slightly enlarged pin holes in corners and in border.

Staple/Pin Hole Damage: moderate. several pin holes in corners and in border, some slightly enlarged and torn.

Staining: heavy. light grey paint on burt Lancaster's head dripping down figure. pencil scribbles in lower right corner and along right edge. some dirt smudges in border.

Creasing: moderate. creasing at fold lines and corners.

Color: mostly bright, light fading

Aging/Yellowing: slight

Brittleness: slight

Edge/Corner/Border Wear: moderate

Overall Condition: FAIR
