Two Guns, White Calf framed Photo signed by The Photgrapher Hileman, dated 1927, also signed by the subject, Two Guns, White Calf with his "mark", which is the image of two guns next too a calf. The image itself is 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 . It is matted and seems to be in its original frame which measures App 13 x 17. There is a small raised border around image. Overall the item is in original umolested condition, except for a poorly done craft paper backing that covers the original backing which has deteriorated somewhat but is still present, and doesnt effect the picture at all, and can be removed and replaced very simply. the rest of the picture is in good shape, showing its age and patina nicely. the frame is a simple wooden frame, nothing fancy.Frome my research it seems Two Guns, White Calf claimed to be the model for the Buffalo/ indian head nickel. He was also said to frequent Glacier national park where he posed for photographs for tourists. I found this photo in an estate sale from an older home in tennessee. Im sure it would be a nice addition to anyones native collection or Hileman photograph collection. I will ship to the lower 48 for a flat shipping/handling fee of $15. i will pack the item well and insure. I have been told this item is a Lithograph, not a photograph. sorry for any confusion.
