G. I. G U R D J I E F F & The Fourth Way (box picure for illustration only - NOT SUPPLIED ) Georges Ivanovich Gurdjieff was an Armenian -Greek mystic , a teacher of sacred dances, and a spiritual teacher. He is most notable for introducing what some refer to as "The Work," connoting work on oneself according to Gurdjieff's principles and instructions, or as some others refer to it, the Fourth Way . ~~ Supporters regard him as a charismatic master, a powerful esoteric and human transformation teacher who brought new knowledge into Western culture; a psychology and cosmology that enable insights beyond those provided by established science. Gurdjieff influenced the life and writing of many of his pupils and the formation of many groups, all of which still function today and follow his ideas. His work and that of his followers such as Ouspensky, Orage and Collin attract an almost devotional following. ~~ Collected here on one CD are 39 books including titles by Gurdjieff himself and by other followers of the Fourth Way. Included are the following: G. I. G U R D J I E F F Eight Meetings in Paris Meetings 1941-1944 The Enneagram Lecture The Struggle of the Magicians Beelzebub's Tales to His Grandson Life is Real Only Then, When I Am Meetings with Remarkable Men The Herald of Coming Good Views From the Real World R O D N E Y C O L L
