JUNGLE KHUKURI ON EBAY::::::: This is a Brand New Genuine GURKHA ‘KUKRI’ Knife (JUNGLE or PRI Type Unpolished Kukri) with small two pocket knives. Other sellers on eBay may claim to sell genuine Gurkha knives but this one comes DIRECT from the Regimental Headquarters of the Brigade of Gurkhas in Kathmandu . Jungle (PRI Type): This is the train or tactical knife of the Gurkhas. Tfore it is called Jungle Kukri. It is totally unpolished full-sized Kukri. T is 15" long while the blade measures 10.5". The Scabbard is made of Buffalo hide covered-wood. And, the buffalo horn is used for making handle. It weighs 700 grams with scabbard. The knife carried on operations by all the Gurkhas. It is issued to all British Gurkha Soldiers on enlistment and is retained throughout their army career. Crafted by hand in Nepal , it has 10 1/2" long blade and 5" long Buffalo horn handle. The dulled scabbard is made of Buffalo hide. All Khukuris have two pockets on the back of the scabbard which hold a blunt steel called "chakmak" for sharpening the blade or for striking spark from flint and a little knife known as "karda" used for skinning small animals such as rabbits.
