Wonderful, early, and and rare Gustav Stickley side chair. This is pictured in the early works of Gustav Stickley 1902 retail plates. I dont think it was made much after that since I have not seen many of these in all my years of collecting. Similar to the thorndon chair. This chair has a nice red-brown finish that does not appear to original but older with with some nice even wear.Older red leather seat which may have the original tacks? Not signed anymore due to refinish. Nice heavy solid chair! Nice details like a slightly wider than normal seat which comes to a V shaped point. Replaced glue blocks? Has a split that has been filled on the inside of one of the lower stretchers that does NOT show on the outside. A few teeny filled nail holes that are only visible upon close inspection. A very nice early Gus chair to put into a corner by itself or to finish out a set. Measures 36 1/8 tall by 18 3/8 wide. Will be professionally packed and shipped at a UPS shipper .Goes great in your bungalow alongside your limbert, roycroft, and other mission furniture. Probably shipped to most places in the lower 48 states for around 100-150. But this is my best guess. Actual shipping to be determined after auctions end with buyers zip code. I charge only actual shipping cost. No pay pal. Lower USA 48 states only. Please ask questions. No returns. Check my other listings for more limbert and roycroft era items. Thanks!!!! VERY LOW RESERVE!!!!!!!
