**Genuine GUSTAV STICKLEY** Hammered Copper Bookends Measurements 6-1/4" tall x 4" wide and 3"deep Here's an amazing GUSTAV STICKLEY hand hammered set of copper bookends. The bookends have been hand hammered and has rivets connecting the base to the front and an incredible star design including hand hammered rings. The planishing marks and hand chasing is far superior that other makers . The patina is a rich chocolate brown and resembles Roycroft's Aurora Brown finish . Warm browns and beautiful age appropriate wear describe this amazing set. The richness of this patina has never been properly duplicated, and this patina is completely original . The rings turn freely. There is no maker's mark, but I have seen other sets that match this one exactly, described as coming from a Gustav Stickley desk set . Don't let this rare set get away. It will make a great addition to your Arts and Crafts copper collection. I have 100% positive feedback and have been an Ebay member since 1999, so please . This is the exact set of Stickley bookends you will receive, and shipping will be a flat rate of $10, insurance extra. Good luck and have fun. I've had a lot of interest in these bookends, so I wanted to clarify who I think the maker is. Since these are not signed, I can only attribute them to Stickley. I have seen enough similar ones attributed to Stickley that I feel very confident in that attribution. The quality is definitely there, and the fact of seeing multiple examples of the same type point to a major manufacturer. The winning bidder will truly appreciate the craftsmanship.
