!!! Gustav Stickley's CRAFTSMAN MAGAZINE Volume 1 Issue 1 !!! Not a RePrint - Very Good Condition - No Reserve Auction When I found this magazine in a dusty old box of books, my heart skipped a beat. I have never even seen an original copy in person, and certainly . I am offering it (and some other wonderful related items) this week with the hopes that it will find an appreciative owner who will care well for it.This rare first issue of Gustav Stickley's Craftsman Magazine was published in October of 1901 and features essays on William Morris' life and influece along with some other short items. It has a total of about 70 pages (they are not all numbered) and has 8 pages of photographs (of Stickley houses, furnishings and interiors). Condition of this magazine is very good overall. The outer cover has a split along about 1/3 of the spine. T is a name printed along the spine on the front cover. The original binding is intact. The two most outer pages have some corner wear / losses and and t is some chipping. The is one page cut in the margins of one of the photo pages. The inner pages are in much better condition with just a reading marks, dog-earred corners, etc... Most of the pages are in excellent condition.I will be shipping this item in protective packaging.
