PLEASE LOOK AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS FOR MORE GREAT COWBOY COLLECTABLES.You are bidding on a very rare early bit that is maker marked "R. GUTIERREZ, MFG, 1084 LE. CONTE. AVE. S.F." . This great old California Bit is in mint museum quality condition and is mounted with two 2" Sterling Silver Engraved Conchos that show Gutierrez's wonderful style. The mouth piece is 5" wide and the shanks are 8" tall. The rein chains are in good condition but are rusty.This bit is the real deal and will stand out in any collection. I absolutely guarantee this bit to be as described and as shown in the photos. Where are you going to find another maker marked "Gutierrez" bit for sale that is in this great condition? Raphael Gutierrez, know as Filo, was born in San Francisco, Ca. in 1889. He worked with G.S. Garcis in Elko, Nevada from 1911 to 1916. Filo opened his own shop in San Francisco in 1919.
