I am listing some Nice Antique Photos this week (see last photo for a group sampling). is a Nice 1850's 1/4 PLATE-SIZED GUTTA PERCHA DAGUERREOTYPE UNION CASE in the MUSIC LESSON Pattern. Dark chocolate colored. The case contains a nice 1/4 Plate Tintype Photo of Three Lovely Young Ladies c.1860's. The case is 4-7/8" x 3-7/8". The case is in pretty good condition. T is only some small areas of roughness around one corner and on a couple of exterior edges and other corner tips- not too bad (see close-up). Otherwise Gutta Percha is fine with good, smooth-working hinges. Missing one of the interior gold frames (or velvet padding- not sure what would have gone on the other half). Nice Antique Case.
