This yard crane is ideal for the goods yard. It is of white metal construction and at a guess, it could well be from a Mike's Models kit. It has been neatly made and painted in GWR colours. It swivels around a post, the base of which has a boss to aid in positioning. The photo shows it stuck in a lump of plasticine which has now been removed. There is also a separate grooved wheel but I do not know how or where this should go or even if it is indeed part of this model. There is some minor damage at the base but I did not notice this until I examined it closely and it does not affect the appearance or performance as far as I can see. It is a scenic accessory rather than a working model. I am selling this item on behalf of a recently widowed neighbour. they were part of her late husband's collection.
