Shaving mug, ironstone, hand painted, vintage. A hand painted floral shaving mug with gold trim. Marked "Ironstone China". There are two manufacturing flaws, one a tiny hole which does not go through to the inside of the mug, about 1/2" up from the bottom, and the second a gold smear (see photos), both on the back of the mug. Otherwise, in very good condition. Circa 1890.
