This is a RARE Vintage 1942-43 R.H. Ruana - 14B Skinner with Square Cut Elk Horn Handle Inserts & R.H. Ruana Guard Stamp. The blade on this one is 4-5/8" making it a wonderful size skinner, showing much of the original grind lines & a few spots of light peppering, the OAL of the knife is 9-1/8", knife has Square Cut Elk Horn handle inserts secured by three pins, it has a one piece cast aluminum handle with birds head pommel, stamped on the guard with the “R.H. RUANA, BONNER, MONTANA” Logo & the Square Cut Handle Inserts place the Manufacture in the 1942-1943 Era. Comes with the Original all leather tight stitched & riveted Deluxe belt sheath with sharpening stone. This is a Rare Early R.H. Ruana Model 14B Skinner in Great Condition !
