James Henry Steward optician 406 strand London late Victorian field binoculars in original leather case. He was working at his shop at 406 from 1856 and then died in 1896 so they date from anytime between then. The owners initials A. L. N are stamped into the leather on top of the case and they would have most likely used during WW1. The Binoculars are in very good working condition, the leather where you hold them has detached but is included in the box so they can be restored, the leather box is also in very good condition there is some slight wear but no damage.
