Up for bid is a very special humidor from my personal collection, an H. Upmann Burl Wood 8 Drawer Humidor .
I purchased this H. Upmann Burl Wood 8 Drawer Humidor - a lacquered, burl wood beauty - and used it for a short time until I moved to larger humidors. Oh, but what a joy it was to open the wood and glass doors, open a drawer, and smell the sweet aroma of Spanish Cedar. I hate to part with this, but this is a humidor that should be used and enjoyed, not sitting around doing nothing. It's a beauty, and in near-mint condition. The only think keeping this H. Upmann Burl Wood 8 Drawer Humidor from being judged as "mint condition" is that it's not "brand new never used." The box is as solid and good looking today as it was when I purchased it.
This splendid H. Upmann Burl Wood 8 Drawer Humidor measures 11" deep x 23" wide and 12" high. The finish of the piece of furniture in awesome, rose wood burl top, side, back, the bottom is all covered in felt. The spotless and scratch-free front glass shows the drawers. Each drawer rests on its own cedar ledges (like a tray in a smaller humidor) when inside the humidor, but the drawers slide out completely and reinsert easily. The eight, large drawers each could easily hold a box of Churchills. Each drawer measures 8" deep x 9" wide x 2" high. Depending on what kind of cigars you enjoy, you could store up to 300 cigars in the humidor.
The left and right side of the humidor are separated by a center divider. In effect, you have a left and a right chamber for humidification, allowing you to use this beautiful piece of furniture as a humidor on one side and a cigar implement holder on the other, or even to humidify each side at different RH levels! The humidor seal on the whole box is good, but better on the left side than on the right because the left door is snug when closed while the right has just a bit of play in the ball joint that keeps the door closed.
A note on humidification : O ver the years, I've learned that active humidification works better than passive. While you could certainly use a passive unit like a credo or a humistick-type device, I believe that Cigar Oasis and other active humidification devices are best for cigars. If you have a Cigar Oasis XL (the small one that attaches under the lid of a humidor) or similar device, you'll be set. This box makes installing a credo or Cigar Oasis XL easy, because the top drawer on each side of the H. Upmann Burl Wood 8 Drawer Humidor has a 1" slot to mount a humidifier. I never mounted a device when I used this humidor, so the ceiling of each side of the humidor is as clean as the day I purchased it.

I still have the ORIGINAL PACKING AND SHIPPING MATERIALS, and will lovingly repack this and ship to you via UPS (or your preferred shipping method - with tracking) with adult signature required. The packing and humidor weighs 35-40 pounds, and comes in a very large shipping box.
