We now hold the posters in place with magnets (so we do not have to attach the poster to the wall in any way), which are small and round and resemble "push pins", but we assure you they are NOT! If an image has a black background, know that the odd circles in the edges of the item are magnets that hold it in place, and are NOT a defect! An Original Vintage Theater-Used Folded Domestic One-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 27" x 41") from McHale's Navy, the 1964 Edward Montagne Naval sailor military comedy ("Their first full-length motion picture in color!"; based on the popular TV show of the same name) starring Ernest Borgnine, Tim Conway, Joe Flynn, Carl Ballantine, Gary Vinson, Billy Sands, Edson Stroll, Gavin MacLeod, John Wright, Yoshio Yoda, Bob Hastings, Claudine Longet, Jean Willes, George Kennedy, and Marcel Hillaire Important Added Info: Note that this poster was stamped "DOM" which means it was printed for use within the United States (t would also have been posters stamped "FOR" for use outside the United States). Overall Condition: good. Want to know more about the condition of this item? This item has some significant imperfections. If they are within the image, they are likely quite noticeable, and they may be in the blank borders, w they may be more significant. We may have written a few words about those imperfections, but we may not have, as you can likely see them by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual item (if they are the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized image, like faint water staining or much tape on the back, we ALWAYS describe that in words). Note that the term "good" in collectible grading can be deceptive, because items in "good" condition are not "good" at all, but this terminology has been used forever this way, and it is probably too late to change! Also note that included in this week's one-sheets we are selling are some posters that we were consigned from a large collection of older (pre-1960) posters w the owner put small pieces of tape on the back of small tears. We have NOT noted this when t are just a few small pieces of tape in fairly insignificant places, but we always note a fair amount of tape, especially tape on the back of the crossfolds, or on the back of parts of important image areas. If not knowing the exact location of the tape (or the exact number of pieces of tape) would bother you, you should not bid on these posters. Most collectors know that it was extremely common for theater owners and early collectors to put some tape on the back of posters, and are somewhat forgiving of this defect, especially if it does not affect the front (and of course, if the poster is going to be linenbacked, the restorer first removes any tape from the back). One-Sheets are the standard movie poster size, what you see outside of any movie theater.
