This was made about 120 years ago.This is lacquering to wood. Real lacquer is use. It is never plastic.And this has pretty good lacquer work called MAKIE. It is very fine!!! And the designs are very good, too. And the form of this covered bowl is rare. It is valuable. MAKIE is made carefully, applying very long days and months. The old-time craftsman had required several years.
