(3) Hadrosaur Teeth These three nice Hadrosaur teeth come from the duck billed dinosaur, Edmontosaurus. Edmontosaurus were large herbivores that could reach lengths of over 40 feet. Edmontosaurus had hundreds of strong teeth held together by bony tissue to form dental batteries. Each battery forms a long grinding surface that could crush tough vegetation. The two smaller teeth were both found in one piece. The tooth with its root intact was found in three pieces, two pieces of the root were reattached and then stabilized. The tooth with almost no feeding wear has a hairline crack that was stabilized. All three teeth have great preservation. The three teeth have excellent detail with a nice dark brown coloration. These three teeth are nice examples of Edmontosaurus teeth. The largest Edmontosaurus tooth (with root) measures: 1/2" of an inch wide by 1 3/8" inches in length. The smallest Edmontosaurus tooth measures: 5/16" of an inch wide by 3/4" of an inch in length. These three Hadrosaur teeth were dug out of a microsite in the Hell Creek Formation of Carter County, Montana. The three Edmontosaur teeth were collected on private ranch land with the owner's permission. ___________________________________________________________ Seller Ships Worldwide USPS Priority Mail US $7.00/ International $27.00 Fast Shipping! ___________________________________________________________ Visit the Hooley's Monthly Auction....listing the first Sunday every Month!
